How hard is it to find over the door storage that fits?

Thursday, December 28th, 2006

If this is your first time here, please consider subscribing by
RSS or by email. Thanks for visiting!

I hope everyone has had a good holiday. Instead a dreaming of sugarplums and candy canes, I have been dreaming of organizing my closet. In the process. I have been searching all over New York City and online. It seems that the companies I have called that no one seems to know the width of the door hooks. I’m not going to name the long list of retailers (both online and brick and mortar) that I called who did not know the width of the door hooks. However, I have only found one retailer who actually lists the door thickness, www.spacesavers.com. Even though their products don’t fit my thick door, they are efficient enough to list the door hook thickness of their over the door storage products.

Are you the missing the Office Holiday Party?

Wednesday, December 6th, 2006

There is no need to fret. When the holidays came around, it it not unusual to miss all that comes with the typical office holiday party.

However, as a freelancer, you can still get you holiday mojo on.

1. Go online and look for networking organizations in the industry you want to work in.

2. Look to see if those organizations have meetings and/or parties.

3. Register for those parties

4. Go Network.

The Famous “I told you so.”

Wednesday, December 6th, 2006

There is nothing more gratifying to a freelancer than being able to say “I told you so” to a client. Most of the time, clients would prefer to think that they came up with the ideas on their own. Once in a while, it is nice to say those words when a client comes to the realization themselves and then acknowledges the freelancer for it.
