A prospective client had post-pone an appointment from last week.
I had called exactly at the top of the hour and no response. They did not even called back for a heads-up or to reschedule. That was 15 minutes I could of had to do some hands-on work.
I am not chasing this client. My time is way too valuable. I know when to stop trying. After all, they initialted the conversation.

If you have more that one computer, you understand the perils of keeping you bookmarks organized on both computers. It can be draining to take that USB drive/stick from one computer to another. Well, Google Browser Sync has heard your cries. It is a Firefox extension that you install on you primary computer (say a desktop) and a secondary one (like a laptop). Installation is a bit cumbersome, and you have to login every few weeks for security, but after all it said and done, it will have the way you work. No longer do you have to ask yourself, “Where is that site I bookmarked X days/week/months ago?”

Its inevitable. You have to step away from the computer eventually during business hours to run errands, pick up kids, have a face to face with a client or go to the doctor’s office, which was my story. Luckily with my Treo 650 PDA and Gmail, I was able to make the most of my crosstown bus commute. I was able to follow up with my client by email to make sure s/he supplied me with the information that I needed to get my work done. Now, if only taking my yearly physical was that simple.

Ok, the organization bug has hit me hard, so hard that I’m have to have shopping trips and online transactions to the organization store apporved approved before doing anything. Over the month of December, I decided to get started on my resolution early. To get my house in order in more ways than one. However, I had to attack the one place I dreaded more than anywhere, that being under the kitchen sink.
Kitchen Sink Before:

Kitchen Sink After:

The Expandable Under-Sink Organizer – (White)
had turned chaos into calm. I’m actually motivated to clean. Mom would be proud.

Did you know that you can donate to your favorite cause online?
You may be able to deduct your charitable contributions from your taxes. (Be sure to consult with you tax advisor.)
However, like the outside world, one needs to be aware when donating online.
Whenever you are donating (or shopping) online, make sure that the site is secure.
You can tell that the website is secure in two ways:
- That the website address in the browser starts with https://. The “s” stands for secure. This means that any information submitted on the page will be encrypted while it travels to the organization.
- That there is a “closed lock” on the browser. This is another indicator that the site is secure.
