Making the Migration to WordPress

I figured it was about time that I made the migration to WordPress. I had previously used my blog with another provider as a way to keep track of what I have done. Yet, I became tired and weary from only having the option of searching month to month. The search tool rocks, so even this academic can search for items I’ve done last week to 5 years ago (Yes, I have done things online over 5 years ago.) The categories are amazing and are just what is called for. Plus, I have a lot of goodies and insights in store that I am able to put into the drafts section.
Even though WordPress offered the relatively quick import tool, I opted to manually put in my entires. It gave me a chance to “edit” myself and weed out items that do not necessarily fit into the scope of the blog.
Overall, I am pleased.
