How important is a blog’s design?

ProBlogger is answering reader questions on his blog. One of the questions that came about is regarding the importance of blog design. The bottom line in my option is that it ultimately depends on the goals of the blog. If its a corporate or small business blog, of course they are more concerned about design and their brand translating correctly to their target audiences. However, if the agenda is about getting the information out then design is not so much a priority. Of course in time, the blog can be tweaked and adjusted to accommodate the growing content. That’s the beauty of the blog, there is always room for growth and discovery.
