Social Networking and good deeds

We know about the guy that used Twitter to get out of jail, but what about for everyday tasks or favors. Just last night I added Plurk to my Ping.fm list of Social Networks, even though I hear of it a week ago on G4’s “Attack of the Show.” I’ve imported friends from Twitter and one of them asked for a favor. Since I know someone who I thought could assist them, I emailed my friend and asked them for any tips they could provide. Within minutes I was able to give my plurk friend what they needed.
