Living in a Hostel Environment

My friends asked me what it was like to stay in a hostel for a few days while I was in Chicago for the Creative Freelancers Conference.

Let’s just say it wasn’t as bad as the guy in the AT&T commmerical.

I will say that all I did was sleep there. I didn’t make any friends, not that I was expecting to. It would of been nice. This was my third time to Chicago, so I knew where I was going and also have longtime friends in Chicago.

If I had to sum it up, staying in a hostel is better suited for a group of younger people traveling in a group. It can be difficult if you are alone or not in the prime demographic.
