I am not only writing this in terms of my own blog, but I’m sure there are a number of blog administrators that feel the same way.
Lately, there have been quite a number of comment submissions on my blogs. Some comments have little or no substance to them. Some examples are as follows:
“Nice post” or
“I read your blog all the time.”
That’s nice and all, but in the end, the same type of comments can get old, bland and boring.
When commenting on a post, one should express their thoughts that are specific to that post, i.e. their experiences with that particular topic, of how they felt about that particular post.
With approval of blog comments, I have every right to be picky, after all, its my blog. As my grandmother says, if you don’t have anything constructive to say, don’t say it at all.
