The Honeymoon’s over, disconnecting Facebook from Twitter

This weekend, I went from joy to annoyance.

Several days ago, I thought I was linking my Facebook page account to my twitter account to make things more streamlined. This is all good and well if you have only one twitter account, but when you have more than one, things can become messy.

Unfortunately, my tweets not only appeared in my main twitter account, but also in my personal account . Even thought a few people follow both accounts, it can and does get annoying to see the same tweets in different accounts especially if its not being re-tweeted. So I disconnected the plug.

Here’s how to do it:

1. Login to your Twitter account.

2. Click on the “Settings” link

3. Click on the Connections Tab.

4. Figure out which Application you want to  “Revoke Access” to and then click “Revoke Access”

There. You should be all set. Be sure to log out and log back in to “Settings” > “Connections” to confirm that the application in question has been deleted.

I think I stick to Ping.fm,  and  Tweetie on my Touch to maintain my tweets.
