Out with the old, in with the new?

Well we are officially one week into the new year.

I have been thinking about the web tools and how they evolved over the past several years.

I have been also thinking about how we as people have evolved.

Here are a few observations I have encountered:

• From dial-up to broadband

• MyBlogLog Readers to Facebook Fans or Twitter Followers

• Desktop Computing to Cloud Computing

• Websites in TV ads to Facebook Pages in TV ads

• Geocities to "get your own website or sign up for a blog account somewhere else"

• Listserves to Google Wave
