Give people options about how they receive their email

As I stated a couple of days ago, I am in the process of re-evaluating my email relationships.

While I was going through my inbox I noticed that there were some places I wanted to keep,  and others I wanted to change the email address to deliver to.

Most places simply ask you “Text” or “HTML”. As I was going through the motions, a couple of places went the extra mile.

When I clicked on the “What does this mean?” link, the pop-up window below appeared.

However, when I clicked on the unsubscribe link for other places, they did not offer an option to change the email address. So, I simply unsubscribed.

If you don’t give folks options as to how they would like to get your information, they will no longer receive your information.
