Managing contacts from one mobile device to another

When one changes their mobile device, one is always faced with the question, which contacts to keep and which contacts to delete. I have recently upgraded my cellphone. Most providers offer contact transfers with activation from one phone to another.

If you are upgrading from one operating system to the same one, you can most likely handle the transfer yourself, which is what I did.  I noticed some duplicates, which is normal. I also noticed  that there weren’t contacts I haven’t accessed in years.

So on a given weekend for am hour or two depending on how many contacts you have, it may be a good time to review your contacts regardless if you have a new cellphone or not.
