Make sure that they are not already socially connected. For example. I had a post that was liked on Facebook. I noticed that the permalink was not grammatically correct. I called myself correcting it and in the process, lost my social mojo. So I promptly put the permalink back to what it was. So before you change that link, check it’s social impact.
